We are seeking a Vice Principal to work under the AET, based within Swallow Hill Community College in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to add capacity to the existing Senior Leadership Team within a pivotal position at this newly formed Academy. This is a genuine chance to implement your proven track record of outstanding teaching and leadership, significantly raise attainment, improve standards and be an integral part of the Academys future success.

As a fundamental part of the Senior Leadership Team, focusing on the Academys Inclusion agenda, you will be accountable for motivating other senior leaders as well as middle leaders to deliver rapid improvement in terms of student achievement and progress. Responsible for leading and managing strategies in the Academy in order to raise attainment you will focus on maximizing the outcomes and opportunities of students with special needs. You must be an outstanding practitioner and able to demonstrate innovative methods of teaching whilst inspiring staff and students alike. You should have a genuine focus on student attainment and progress as well as a proven track record in school improvement and an appreciation of what is required to evolve and develop an improving Academy.

This position is required to commence as soon as possible. Interviews are scheduled to take place 21 and 22 October 2013.
