Walpole Cross Keys Primary School
A primary school of West Norfolk Academies Trust
Here at Walpole Cross Keys Primary School, there is always something going on! We may be small in size, but we have really big ideas and a positive and aspirational approach to ensure that we improve and impress!
Being 8 miles away from the large town of King's Lynn, nestled at the heart of a rural village surrounded by wide open fields, we believe in celebrating our locality and community roots. This is demonstrated through our 'Rural Thread' which highlights the significance of valuing where we come from and how valuable we are to the wider world.
Having just under 50 children, our school is made up of only three classes; Reception and Year 1 (Class One; Clever Caterpillars), Years 2, 3 and 4 (Class Two; Busy Bees) and Years 5 and 6 (Class Three; Determined Dragonflies). We also have additional learning environments within the school, which are well used throughout the school and throughout the year. Despite only having 9 Teaching and Support Staff, we offer a safe, supportive and happy place to learn.
We also have an active and successful PTA, which organises a variety of social and fund raising events during the year.
We are a GOOD school (OFSTED, March 2019).
