We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic specialist Food Hospitality and Catering Teacher to join a popular department in this all boys'11-18 comprehensive school. The department delivers Design, Food Technology and Engineering with Product Design being taught at A-Level. We would like to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for developing the delivery of food technology, who can demonstrate the commitment and determination to raise standards across all levels and abilities

11 - 18 boys' comprehensive with mixed sixth form.
We are a popular 11 to 18 boys' comprehensive, operating a joint sixth form with the neighbouring girls' school, Beverley High. We converted to Academy status in August 2011.
Situated in the picturesque historic market town of Beverley, Beverley Grammar School was founded in 700 AD by St John of Beverley. As the oldest state school in England, we strive to maintain our rich, traditional history by maintaining our historic links with the Beverley Minster.
However,as a forward thinking and innovative school, we pride ourselves on our open, caring, friendly and successful ethos built on trust, respect and teamwork. We are committed to the development of our staff which we believe is fundamental to the continual raising of standards and achievements of our pupils.

Since our conversion to Academy status we have been successful in securing capital funding for a number of projects to improve the standard of the teaching and learning environment. We are committed to further enhancement of our facilities.
