Learning Support Assistant (several posts available)

Smithdon High School, part of West Norfolk Academies Trust are seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants to support the needs of named pupil/pupils who require help to overcome barriers to learning.
 
You will manage the provision of support for students with special educational needs, contributing to termly and annual reviews and will advocate on behalf of named pupil/ pupils, implementing the strategies and advice included in the pupils Education, Health and Care Plan or Learning Profile.
 
You will be empathetic and believe in the value of education for all. You will also have a genuine wish to make a difference and support young people in achieving their potential.
 
30.5 hours/week, 38 weeks/year (term time only) 
There are several opportunities available - 1 permanent and 2 temporary, maternity cover posts. Please state a preference when applying if you only want to be considered for just the permanent role, or just a temporary role.
