Catering Manager

Smithdon High School - Wnat

Smithdon High School are seeking to appoint an experienced, confident and capable Catering Manager to lead, motivate and work with a team whose aim is to serve healthy, fresh and nutritious school meals.  A passion for food is essential, as is a willingness to take a full part in the life of the school and encourage healthy eating with all the children. 
You will be managing a busy school canteen alongside a friendly team of catering assitants.
 
The successful candidate will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills, high expectations themselves and their team and a real commitment to achieving the very highest of standards.Responsibilities will include ordering, preparing and cooking a range of meals using high quality ingredients and the usual administration tasks associated with running a catering unit.
 
£11.92 - £12.69/hour (Approx £ 19,825 - £ 21,888, £ 22,571 - £ 24,920 FTE based on 37 hour week )
 
37 hours/ week, 40 weeks/year (term time + 2 weeks)
