HLTA Teaching Assistant - Specialising in SEN

Clenchwarton Primary School, part of West Norfolk Academies Trust,are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support our EYFS class which has a high SEN cohort for the upcoming academic year.
 
Commence September 2022
30 hours/week, 39 weeks/year (term time +1) Fixed Term 1 Year contract

Are you looking to join a team of dedicated, supportive professionals who are committed to delivering high quality education for all children? If so, then we would welcome you to our school at this exciting time.

You will be required to work with individuals or small groups of students under the direct supervision of the Class teacher and also be required at times to teach the whole class. Knowledge of working with SEN children is essential. You will take a lead role alongside the teacher and SENCo with the implementation of individual pupils support plans to ensure that the school is meeting the specific needs of the pupils and supporting the pupils in lessons following a differentiated curriculum. You will also undertake general planning and assessments working together with the Class teacher.

We are seeking someone who:
Is experienced in working with SEN children and has the knowledge to support within a classroom environment
enjoys working with children and listens to their needs
is patient, calm, caring and flexible in approach
has a positive outlook, a sense of humour and works well in a team
is able to be proactive, supporting and organising activities relevant to need

Clenchwarton Primary School is a one form entry school with about 200 children split into seven classes.
