Springwood High School have a vacancy for a Teaching assistant

27.5 hours/week,
Monday - Friday

Scale C, Pt 3-4, 9.79 - 9.99/hour. 12,513 - 12,763/per year
(18,887 - 19,264/per year FTE based on a 37 hr week)

1 Year fixed term contract .

We are seeking to appoint a high quality and proactive 1 -1 teaching assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team. If you are someone who believes that all students, regardless of their personal circumstances can excel and have the ability to set high expectations in order to motivate and inspire, then this job is for you.
You will be working with a specific student(s) supporting their special educational needs implementing the strategies and advice included in their Education, Health and Care Plan or Learning Profile. You will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills, high expectations ,strong behavioral management skills
and a real commitment to achieving the very highest of standards.
Working to address the needs of named pupil/pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.& helping them stay engaged and on track during each lesson.
