Pastoral Manager

Smithdon High School (part of West Norfolk Academies Trust) is looking to recruit a Pastoral Manager

37 hours/week, 40 weeks/year (Term Time + 2 weeks)

Purpose of the Job

To support the work of the designated Pastoral and Academic teams to raise standards of achievement and extra-curricular engagement helping & encouraging our pupils to improve their life chances 

Manage ,assist & support the pastoral care in the Key Stage working closely with the Pastoral Team  & assistant headteachers to ensure consistency of practice and procedures

The post holder will have a shared responsibility for the safeguarding of all children and young people & an implicit duty to promote the welfare of all children and young people.

 

West Norfolk Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Appointments are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check with barred list.
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 but Exceptions Order may apply.
